We are looking for committed writing; original theory or observation in geopolitics, history, democracy, environment, population, land-use planning and energy policy: Your response to oil shocks, disaster capitalism, destruction of nature, and the globalisation of authority and power. What promotes democracy and preserves nature and what doesn't.  

NOVELS

What kind of fiction are we looking for?

We welcome intelligent, idea-driven speculative fiction with clear-eyed, eccentric characters and original thinking. We acknowledge the absurd. We are particularly interested in novels that engage deeply with real-world systems — demography, ecology, politics, technology, power, and human nature. We are interested in thoughtful, ambitious stories that challenge readers and explore how humans actually behave in complex systems. If your novel has something fresh and substantial to say, in whatever genre, we’d love to see it.

NON-FICTION
Can be at any level. Not looking to dumb your thesis down, but hope to find you some readers. You might even like to turn your thesis into a novel.
